But more than 5,000 unwanted animals enter Huntsville Animal Services each
year. A fully funded Spay/Neuter program would cut that number drastically.
Even though SNAP provides well over 1000 spay/neuter surgeries a year, many
low income pet owners have to be turned away for lack of funds.
